The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for the regular full-time Asset Management Technician position in the Asset Management Section within the Corporate Services Department.
Reporting to the Manager – Asset Management Systems, the Asset Management Technician supports the development and maintenance of the CVRD’s Asset Management Program by administering the asset management database and compiling and analyzing asset data. They assist across the organization in planning preventative maintenance, repair needs, and capital asset programs, while conducting life-cycle and cost-benefit analyses to recommend asset management strategies. The role involves analyzing infrastructure performance, predicting asset conditions, and evaluating service level impacts using data models.
