The team enables Grafana Labs worldwide growth by educating potential and existing customers to ensure that they are happy and successful. We share our technical and product expertise with customers through demos, hands on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations and ongoing interaction. We partner closely with our Sales team to help qualify and close opportunities. The Solutions Engineering team is one of the primary routes of communication from our customers to the Product Management and Engineering teams. A Solutions Engineer is able to really listen to a prospect or customer, understand their requirements, ask the right questions to extract as much information as required and translate all that into a solution with Grafana Labs technology. As the Director, Solutions Engineering, East for Grafana Labs, you will be responsible for all aspects of building and managing a team of high-performing Solution Engineers. You will be asked to be a cultural flag carrier for the organization and embody what strong partnership and collaboration looks like across AE and SE roles. You will help grow the East SE organization to 25+ SE’s and ensure we are prepared to scale the SE org across multiple products, industries, segments, and GTM motions. Paired with 2 Sales VP’s, 8 Sales RD’s, 3 SE Mangers, 45+ AE’s, and 20+ SE’s, you will help evolve repeatable processes, playbooks, job architectures, enablement, and other programs needed to achieve this scale and increase win rates.
