POSITION SUMMARY Kitchen Support Experts play an important role in support of several hotel functions. These associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, employee dining room) to support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dishwashing machines, hand wash stations), or transporting dishware across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. JOB SUMMARY Functions as the leader of the property’s sales department for properties with bookings over 300 peak rooms and significant local catering revenue. Manages the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts. Provides day to day leadership to sales associates to achieve property sales objectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues. Implements the brand’s service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel’s’ sales objectives.
