User Experience Consultant, Lead...
Key Role:
Support client engagements for the User Experience (UX) capability to create innovative solutions that align with client strategies and objectives. Leverage expertise in UX, Human Factors, Design Thinking, and Service Design to conceptualize and deliver user-centered products for digital experiences and applications. Employ and maintain UX standards, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience. Take a leadership role as a UX Team Lead, overseeing project execution and mentoring junior designers. Demonstrate strong project and product management skills, balancing multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to deliver quality results on time and within budget. Exhibit effective teamwork and communication, taking direction, and actively seeking feedback to refine and enhance design outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience with UX
• Experience with leading UX research initiatives, including extensive planning, qualitative interviews, focus groups, and user testing, to uncover insights that inform design decisions
• Experience with utilizing Service Design methodologies to optimize end-to-end user experiences across digital and non-digital touchpoints
• Experience with driving business development (BD) and sales efforts, contributing to proposal writing and developing client solutions
• Experience with providing mentorship, guidance, and oversight to junior UX designers
• Experience collaborating with clients and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines, while maintaining a strong focus on user needs and business objectives
• Experience with delivering comprehensive design solutions, from initial research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototypes and user testing
• Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, the user-centered design process, and UX principles and techniques
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Knowledge of the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and interface design
• Knowledge of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
