Department: CON | Baccalaureate Education Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Assistant Professor position has supplemental administrative duties as the director of the accelerated BSN program. This position engages in the teaching, scholarship, and service missions of the college. Qualifications: Master’s and Doctoral degree in nursing. Current unencumbered RN or advanced practice nursing license with eligibility for licensure in Arkansas. Teaching experience in a traditional or accelerated BSN program. Experience with concept-based curriculum preferred. Curriculum development and accreditation experience. Demonstration of scholarship related activities, e.g., published manuscripts, presentations at scientific conferences, and/or grant funding. Established record of securing clinical experiences and community partnerships. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. BSN program management preferred. Additional Information: Responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day activities of the program. Provides leadership in curricular development. Contributes to strategic planning. Oversees program evaluation. Contributes to student recruitment and retention efforts. Participates in accreditation, and program reports, and contribute to development of academic policies.
