Key Role...
Serve as the Contracts Manager within Booz Allen Hamilton's Defense business supporting an Army client and other DoD components. Act as the Senior Lead of a high energy, dynamic contracts team, reporting to more senior leaders. Direct and coordinate the contract functions with a focus on acquisition client relationship management, terms and conditions, proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation across a myriad of program types, including systems development, technical and professional services, and fixed price engagements. Provide expert advice and counsel to Account Executives and their program leadership on contractual matters, including advising on contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict of interest, and risk management and mitigation. Interface directly with senior leadership, program managers, and contracting officers to address any issues that may arise during capture, proposal development, contract negotiation, execution, or completion. Develop a strategic vision for the Booz Allen Army contracting team, growing the team’s capabilities and offerings to meet business objectives, balancing comprehension of firm objectives with current and emerging client requirements and external trends. Lead a team of 10 contract professionals. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience with contract management, including overseeing large, complex proposals, negotiations, and administration for DoD contracts
• 8+ years of experience with managing a diverse staff
• Experience with the negotiation of commercial and government contractual documents and US government procurement regulations, including FAR and DFARS
• Experience with serving as a business advisor or key functional integrator, aligning people, processes, and systems to ensure quality support to clients
• Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with acquisition clients at Army ACC APG and other contracting commands
• Experience in a decision-making capacity with contracting, including a warranted government contracting officer or a senior contracts manager position in industry
• Experience with managing complex product and solution contracts and sales

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
