Responsibilities: The Scheduling Lead, Medical Group is a highly organized and a results-oriented leader that formulates clear strategies and maps aggressive steps that accelerates the organization toward its strategic goals. In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing patient access and ensuring a seamless scheduling experience. You will leverage your expertise to develop efficient provider schedules and collaborate with leadership to implement innovative scheduling strategies and develop and maintain operational playbooks with best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Strategic Scheduling: Analyze schedules and collaborate with local market schedulers to develop optimized schedules that maximize resource utilization and meet contact hour goals • Proactive Census Management: Implement proactive strategies to identify and mitigate potential gaps in patient appointments, ensuring a balanced provider census • Technology Champion: Partner with local leadership to leverage the full potential of our scheduling system and identify opportunities for automation and improvement • Provides day-to-day technical guidance while performing escalated or complex duties • Patient Advocate: Develop scripting to enable local market schedulers to build rapport with patients and families, effectively communicating services, appointment details, and follow-up instructions • Communication Hub: Centrally manage clear and timely communication of updates, strategies, and scheduling tools for the local market scheduling teams • Mentor: Monitor scheduler competencies and partner with local leadership to implement refresher training as needed. Develop and maintain up-to-date operational playbooks and best practices • Problem-Solver: Proactively identify and resolve scheduling challenges, escalating complex issues to the appropriate matrix partners Qualifications: Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience • 2+ years college, and/or equivalent experience • 2 years health care related experience • Successful track record of managing and maintaining positive relationships with direct reports • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Moves quickly to solve complex, real-time issues • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, conditions, illnesses and treatment practices. • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy and efficiency • Intermediate computer skill set level with a strong foundation and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience • 2+ years leadership experience Pay Transparency: Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
