Your Role We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Supply Chain Manager, who will be at the heart of driving operational success by overseeing planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing and distribution (3PL & FBA), returns and compliance. You will manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring products are always available, inventory moves seamlessly, and costs remain optimised. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, ever-evolving e-commerce environment. Tasks Your responsibilities will include: • Forecasting & Planning (S&OP): Lead forecasting and inventory planning for full product lifecycles (launch, scale, run) across multiple online channels and geographies (Europe and USA), leveraging forecasting software, such as Flieber. • Strategic Inventory Management: Determine optimal inventory and safety stock levels for full product lifecycles (launch, scale, run) across suppliers, inbound freight, warehouses, and distribution centers (incl. FBA) in China, EU, UK, and USA. Analyze and negotiate costs, terms, and lead times with supply chain partners to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory turnover and costs. • Purchasing and Logistics: Manage purchase orders (POs) to meet inventory plans and deadlines. Develop efficient inbound shipping plans, overseeing multi-modal, international, and consolidated shipments to warehouses and distribution centers (3PL and Amazon FBA) in China, the EU, the UK, and the USA. Ensure seamless operations with freight forwarders and customs agents by providing accurate documentation. • Warehousing & Distribution (3PL, Amazon FBA): Oversee storage, replenishment, fulfillment, and returns processes across 3PL warehouses and Amazon FBA in EU, UK, USA, and China, driving efficiency and performance. • Compliance: Ensure product and packaging compliance with European and USA regulations, as well as adherence to online marketplace requirements, by collaborating closely with suppliers, partners and regulatory bodies. • Supply Chain Database & System Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product, inventory, and partner data as reliable sources for analysis and decision-making. Drive data efficiency through the implementation and maintenance of inventory management or ERP systems. • Cost & Performance Analysis: Continuously analyze end-to-end (E2E) supply chain processes to improve reliability, reduce turnaround times, and enhance profitability. • Team, Processes and Reporting: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Implement KPIs, SOPs, and actionable reporting to ensure visibility, scalability, and operational efficiency across departments. • New Business Integrations: Oversee the integration of new products, acquired brands, and new brand partnerships into Flummox’s supply chain, ensuring seamless transitions. • Supply Chain SWOT: Monitor industry trends and evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of Flummox’s supply chain. Collaborate with executives to develop and implement strategic improvements. Requirements To succeed in this role you: • Have 5+ years of experience in international supply chain management for Amazon FBA and/or e-commerce brands, achieving measurable success; experience in multi-channel e-commerce is a strong advantage. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (a master’s degree is a plus). • Are fluent in English; German proficiency is big plus. • Are based in Europe and able to effectively collaborate across global time zones. • Excel at data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and can turn data into actionable insights to drive decisions. • Have hands-on experience with Amazon’s ecosystem (FBA, MCF), third-party logistics (3PL) systems, forecasting and inventory management/ERP software. • Understand international shipping and can coordinate seamlessly with logistics partners, ensuring accurate documentation for smooth operations. • Possess strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, thriving in cross-cultural environments with internal and external stakeholders. • Are highly organized and adaptable, with a proven ability to manage urgent tasks and deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic settings. • Can identify supply chain opportunities and risks (SWOT) and contribute to improvement strategies that align with business goals.
