This individual also directly provides in-home, client-centered nursing services to clients. Additionally, as a Public Health Nurse, the nurse will provide health care services to support the needs of school age children, youth, and community. The PH nurse will help to support broader community health and wellbeing that includes immunizations, rapid testing, case tracing and case management. PH nurses will be utilizing a holistic approach within the communities. PHNs will work in First Nations communities to identify and address social determinants of health to support individual, group and community resiliency.
