Aptella are looking for a Support Technician to join their team based in the South Island. This is a full-time role reporting to the Region Manager. The primary objectives of this role are to provide support to customers in relation to service, hire and sales of GIS/Mapping, GPS, Total Station, Machine Control and Software solutions. Ideally you have a background in Surveying or similar discipline and have a strong interest in technology. Key Responsibilities: • Providing technical phone support to customers, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults related to electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. • Managing Support Cases within the Case Management Framework, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation. • Conducting Field Support for Geo-Spatial products and Machine Control products, including installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Performing technical installs involving wiring, cabling, sensor installation, hydraulic system interfacing, and mo ...
