Description Position: Estimator Reports to: Senior VDC Manager Location: Victaulic Global Headquarters, Easton, PA The Estimator is responsible for developing cost estimates for Fabrication & Drawing projects for construction as required by customer’s documents, along with other internal and external support requests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Preparation/evaluation of: BIM Fabrication packages, Material & Labor comparisons, Joint count conversions, Engineering model conversions, Material Take-Offs (MTO) as required • Communicate estimate and scope of work to Sales staff • Determine scope coverage and manage risk of scope gaps to Sales and Customer • Coordination of projects with work center(s)/sales/customers to ensure project schedule milestones and deliverables are met. • Quality Control functions in-line with current department standards. • Utilize, review, and enforce the VDC division procedures and policies.
