Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of skilled health information professionals. • Formulate and execute policies and procedures essential for health information management. • Supervise coding operations across inpatient, outpatient, and professional coding. • Monitor coding accuracy and optimize reimbursement processes. • Ensure compliance with all pertinent regulations, including HIPAA and Joint Commission standards. • Conduct quality audits and develop corrective action plans as needed. • Analyze health data to identify areas for enhancement. • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on best practices in health information management. Required Skills • Profound knowledge of coding guidelines, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory specifications. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational capabilities. • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related discipline. • RHIA/RHIT and CCS/CPC certifications are mandatory. • Over 10 years of experience in health information management, with a focus on leadership roles.
