We are seeking an IT Project Manager who can effectively lead and deliver complex IT projects, ensuring they meet both our business objectives and client expectations. About the Role: As an IT Project Manager at RITA Africa, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects, including software development, web development, cybersecurity, and IT services projects. You will manage project teams, ensure alignment with business goals, and guarantee successful project delivery within the agreed timeline, scope, and budget. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, from... initial concept through to final delivery. • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring they align with business goals. • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation. • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management. • Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality project deliverables. • Ensure projects adhere to best practices, standards, and compliance requirements. • Utilize project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar software to track and report project performance. • Manage client communications, handle feedback, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within software development, web development, or IT services. • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master certification is highly desirable. • Proven experience in managing complex IT projects with a strong track record of on-time, on-budget delivery. • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels. • Familiarity with cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects is a plus
