The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating compelling content across various domains, coupled with a deep understanding of the news landscape in both English and Hindi languages. Responsibilities: • Write well-researched, accurate, and captivating news articles in both English and Hindi languages. • Stay updated with the latest news and trends across diverse domains, including but not limited to politics, technology, entertainment, sports, and more. • Craft headlines and subheadings that grab readers' attention while accurately summarizing the content. • Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm ideas for new content, features, and innovative storytelling formats. • Edit and proofread articles for grammar, spelling, clarity, and... consistency. • Ensure that all content adheres to the company's editorial guidelines, style, and tone. • Optimize content for SEO to enhance visibility and engagement. • Maintain an awareness of competitive news apps and platforms to identify areas for improvement and differentiation. • Engage with readers by responding to comments and feedback when required. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in English literature, Communications, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Content Writer with a focus on news content, preferably with 3-4 years of relevant experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hindi languages. • Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling and well-structured news articles. • Familiarity with current events, news trends, and issues in India and globally. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines. • Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for storytelling. • Proficiency in content management systems and a basic understanding of SEO best practices. • Knowledge of AP Style or similar editorial guidelines.
