Key Responsibilities: • Startup Finance Advisory: Provide expert financial advice to startup founders, helping them navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities in their growth stages. • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead FP&A processes to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling aligned with the company’s strategic goals. • Accounting and Bookkeeping Management: Oversee accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. • Payroll Setup and Management: Establish and manage payroll systems that ensure timely and accurate employee compensation. • Financial Systems Implementation: Set up and maintain financial systems, including QuickBooks or other relevant software, to streamline financial operations. • Financial Reporting & KPI Tracking: Prepare and present financial reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to support decision-making. • Board & Investor Relations: Participate in board meetings, prepare financial reports for stakeholders, and assist with investor relations to secure funding and support growth. • Tax Advisory and Compliance: We offer tax planning and advisory services and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations. • Risk Management involves Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure long-term stability. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with industry regulations, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. Qualifications: • Extensive CFO Experience: 7+ years of experience, including in a CFO role, CFO consultancy, or similar leadership position within the finance sector. • Proven Remote Work Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations remotely, using tools such as Slack, Zoom, QuickBooks, and other remote collaboration platforms. • Strategic Financial Vision: Strong ability to align financial strategies with business goals, focusing on long-term growth and financial sustainability. • Leadership and Mentorship: Experience in leading and developing finance teams, focusing on fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. • Technical Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and tax regulations across various industries and geographies. • Vendor Management Skills: Experience managing relationships with financial service providers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Financial Systems Proficiency: Expertise in setting up and managing financial systems, including QuickBooks or similar software. • Investor and Stakeholder Communication: Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to investors, board members, and other stakeholders. • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly adapt to changing financial environments and solve complex financial challenges with innovative solutions.
