Job Description THE ROLE: Director, Acquisitions Lifetime & LMN The role involves ensuring the creative quality and consistent delivery pipeline of Lifetime and LMN's movie output deals. We need someone with expertise in creative analysis, strong relationship management skills, negotiation, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, as both Lifetime and LMN are dependent on constant supply of high quality films for our linear platforms, digital platform and GCS. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO: Director, Acquisitions Lifetime & LMN Vetting television movie concepts, reading scripts, watching cuts, giving notes. Creating and maintaining efficient organizational workflows, tracking and targeting production goals. Tracking, coordinating and communicating movie rights and distribution deals with various internal departments. Reviewing outside acquisitions, identifying the right platform, and negotiating rights. Developing and maintaining close relationships with partner producers, international buyers, output partners, and creative talent. YOUR STORY: Director, Acquisitions Lifetime & LMN 3 years of Director level experience in television production or development. Proven experience managing a high volume of projects simultaneously and independently. The ability to turn material around quickly while maintaining a competitive creative standard. Strong creative instincts and excellent interpersonal skills. A flexible and curious mindset to understand how to optimize multiple budget levels. An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities, forming new partnerships, and expanding the movie slate. Experience with acquisitions and low-budget television movie financial templates is a plus but not essential. Compensation Annual Pay Range: $129,164 - $151,122 Annual Incentive Target: 17.50% The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience.
