Reporting to the Director, CRM and Loyalty, you will be responsible for developing strategic email marketing plans crafted to deliver on a personalized customer experience and lifecycle marketing. This includes the strategic and creative development of promotional, lifecycle and experiential emails. If you are a customer first digital marketing expert who understands how customers interact with email content and offers, in an omni-commerce space, then this is the role for you! About the Role Drive the development of email marketing campaigns rooted in customer research and insights, past email results, test and learn and sound business information to drive engagement and sales. Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, e-Commerce and other teams to develop exciting integrated email promotions that enhance the LCBO brand for customers, deliver on corporate level objectives, and drive business results. Lead the development and implementation of promotional customer emails with a focus on customer lifecycle, personalized offers and content. Work with marketing team, e-Commerce team and Merchandising to identify relevant promotional initiatives, provide direction and oversight on email objectives, program strategy, project requirements, time frames and budget. Partner with email marketing agency to build effective email campaigns, develop test and learn strategies, identify new tools and opportunities and continually evaluate and evolve to deliver the best customer experience and strong results. Lead project team meetings, deliver creative briefings, manage content and creative requirements, and make internal presentations. Capture results, analysis and insights on email campaign performance for post-promotional reporting. Provide mentorship, support, and development to staff members. About You Demonstrated expertise in email marketing strategy, creative development, execution, and measurement related to email marketing. Post-secondary education in a Marketing, Business or Communication related field and/or equivalent industry training and significant experience in the same or a similar position. Minimum 5 years of working experience in B2C email marketing and leadership with a focus on personalization. Experience in developing targeting email marketing campaigns leveraging customer data, Innovative thinking and creative, yet strategic approach to problem-solving. Solid understanding of digital marketing strategy, email campaign technology and email analytics. Good business insight and sensitivity to social expectations and preferences to develop socially responsible promotional campaigns. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills along with professional and collaborative work style. Strong organizational and project management skills; shown ability to set priorities, meet changing deadlines, supervise, and mentor and empower staff, develop talent, and work independently. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe (AEM, AJO, Adobe Target) and Pega. Familiarity with Adobe analytics is an asset. Experience with both direct and indirect team leadership with technical and business team members. Familiarity with AGCO directives and Liquor Licence and Control Acts is a benefit.
