PurpleRain is a US-headquartered 8+ year old close-knit, fully distributed bootstrapped and profitable product startup with a 50+ rock star team members who enjoy the challenge of solving hard problems together with inc 500 clients globally through our B2B SaaS products. We are a hybrid remote company, with in-house teams in Bangalore, London and remote teams globally in 20+ countries where each employee works from home or a co-working space. Even though we're far away, we're in contact throughout the day in Slack, Basecamp and Zoom. We encourage continual education through weekly lunch and learns and taking courses to keep us ahead of the latest advancements with yearly retreats. As part of our team, you will: • Develop and implement social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand/company awareness • Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization • Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities •... Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency • Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success • Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, FourSquare, Instagram, Google+, Facebook, and others • Manage company blog and editorial calendar that aligns with social updates • Monitor social media progress using web analytic tools • Incorporate optimization strategies, analyze data, and research best ways to increase traffic • Review the success of campaigns and develop ways to improve. Desired skills and experience • 3 years of experience in a product startup / digital agency • Excellent verbal and written/communication skills • Hands on experience with paid social media campaigns • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR, or related field • Proven experience in social media management • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or HubSpot • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audience • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
