Job Description : Head of Technology He/She should be a ‘most technical business person’ and his/her goal is to build a great company, not only a technology which just sounds cool. Let’s make it simpler - the primary job of the Tech. head is to make sure the company's technology strategy serves its business strategy. We strongly believe along with technology understanding every Technology Head needs great understating of the business itself. Responsibilities: Define and implement the overall digital technology vision and roadmap aligned with business goals. Lead and manage a team of software developers, DevOps engineers, architects, and other technical staff. Oversee all web and mobile applications' entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Implement and maintain effective DevOps practices to ensure continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD). Design and build scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions. Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance digital capabilities. Manage and prioritise the technology project portfolio. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners. Ensure adherence to best practices for security, data privacy, and compliance. Create and maintain a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology team. Required Skills: Minimum 10+ years of experience in a leadership role within technology. Proven experience in website and app development (custom, Shopify, Magento). Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Expertise in IT architecture and solution design. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Desired Skills: Experience in e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Magento. PHP/MySQL, Angular JavaScript, jQuery, Memcached • Experience: Minimum 10+ year is required (PHP/MySQL) Experience in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Experience in building and leading high-performing technology teams. Strong understanding of digital marketing and user experience (UX) principles. Good Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks (CodeIgniter / Zend/Laravel). • Solid Knowledge of OOPS.
