E-Commerce Specialist, National Sales (remote)

About the position The E-Commerce Specialist position at US Foods is a fully remote role that focuses on enhancing e-commerce utilization within the National Sales customer base. The specialist will analyze current e-commerce practices and work towards improving the adoption of various tools such as Master List Management, Business Analytics, and General Ledger Coding. This role requires the creation of a strategic plan to integrate USF technology into customer business processes, ensuring that the deployment of e-commerce tools is effective across a wide range of customers, potentially exceeding 200 in number. The specialist will engage with both customer and division executive teams to align on strategies, deployment, and results tracking. A significant part of the role involves overseeing the deployment and monitoring of critical e-commerce tools, as well as conducting customer focus groups to gather feedback on competitive offerings and future functionalities. The specialist will also support Business Development by conducting presentations that highlight the impact of US Foods' e-commerce functionalities to high-profile National Sales prospects. Training is another key responsibility, as the specialist will build and conduct e-commerce system training sessions for both internal and external audiences. Collaboration with e-commerce development teams is essential for the creation, testing, and documentation of new features and functionalities. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both in-person and virtually. Responsibilities • Analyze current e-Commerce utilization within the National Sales customer base. , • Focus on adoption and utilization of Master List Management, Business Analytics, General Ledger Coding, and overall site functionality. , • Create strategic plan for integrating USF technology into the customers' business processes. , • Engage with customer and division executive teams to gain agreement on strategy, deployment, and results tracking. , • Oversee the deployment and monitoring of critical e-Commerce tools for 200 or more customers/concepts within an assigned geography. , • Execute customer focus groups to solicit feedback on competitive offerings and future functionality. , • Respond to customer feedback regarding functionality and challenges with the e-commerce platform. , • Support Business Development in conducting customer presentations on the impact of US Foods e-Commerce functionality with high-profile National Sales new account prospects. , • Build and conduct e-Commerce system training sessions for internal and external audiences. , • Work with e-Commerce development teams in the creation, testing, and documentation of new features and functionality. Requirements • College degree or equivalent work experience. , • Minimum of 5 years experience in distribution sales or technology support positions. , • US Foods distribution experience preferred. , • Experience with US Foods e-Commerce and legacy systems is preferred. , • Experience with customer presentations involving Q&A sessions is preferred. , • Experience in creation of training materials and videos preferred. , • Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required; Salesforce.com experience a plus. , • Demonstrated ability to become proficient in internal applications. , • Strong in-person and virtual presentation skills. , • Analytical skills and attention-to-detail. , • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing skills.
