Role Description This is a volunteer, hybrid internship at IMPACT with flexibility for remote work. Interns will gain hands-on experience in one of several specialized roles, designed to build core skills essential for careers in law, corporate leadership, and advocacy. Each role is crafted to offer professional growth in the following fields: • Legal Intern: Assist with legal research, case studies, document drafting, and exposure to various facets of law and compliance. • Content Creation & Social Media Intern: Develop content for digital platforms, manage social media, and support content strategy to expand IMPACT’s outreach. • Journalism Intern: Produce research-driven articles, conduct interviews, and write pieces related to current legal, corporate, and social issues. • Fundraising & Development Intern: Assist with donor outreach, develop fundraising campaigns, and contribute to financial planning strategies. • Project Assistant: Support event planning, volunteer coordination, and project management for IMPACT’s programs and workshops. • Marketing Intern: Focus on branding, public relations, and communication strategies to enhance IMPACT’s presence. Qualifications All Roles: • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team setting. • Proactive attitude and commitment to IMPACT’s mission and values. Role-Specific Qualifications: • Legal Intern: Basic understanding of legal principles; interest in research and legal writing. • Content Creation & Social Media Intern: Skilled in content creation, social media trends, and content strategy. • Journalism Intern: Experience or coursework in journalism, strong writing skills, and a keen interest in legal and social issues. • Fundraising & Development Intern: Interest in nonprofit development, donor relations, and financial planning. • Project Assistant: Strong organizational and event coordination skills. • Marketing Intern: Knowledge of branding, marketing, and public relations. • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in related fields such as Law, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or Nonprofit Management.
