Technical Co-Founder / CTO Position Kaya Marketplace

About us Kaya Marketplace is revolutionising B2B trade in Africa through our innovative multi-vendor platform connecting FMCG wholesalers and retailers. With a £400B market opportunity and partnerships with major brands like Arla Foods, Olam, and Amadia Wholesale, we're positioned for significant impact and growth across Sub-Saharan Africa. The Role We're seeking a visionary technical co-founder/CTO to join our founding team and lead our technical strategy and execution. This is an equity-based leadership role (15-25% equity) with a 4-year vesting period and performance-based milestones. Current Tech Stack: • Frontend: React Native (Mobile Apps) React JS (Web App) • Backend: Laravel • Infrastructure: AWS • Integration with Stripe, Paystack, and other payment systems Key Responsibilities: • Shape and execute the technical vision and roadmap. • Lead development of our B2B marketplace platform. • Build and manage the technical team. • Ensure platform security, scalability, and reliability. • Drive innovation in AI-powered features and data analytics. • Collaborate with the founding team on strategic decisions.
