The Sales and Customer Service Specialist role is a pivotal position within Mailbox Project, requiring a skilled professional with experience in customer service and sales. This individual will focus on identifying and addressing potential challenges faced by apartment complexes in the southeast region related to mailboxes and package management. The ideal candidate will be process-focused, articulate, and eager to build strong client relationships through proactive outreach and responsive service. Responsibilities Sales Outreach • Conduct outbound calls and send personalized emails to apartment complexes in the southeast United States to identify issues with mailboxes or package management. • Build and maintain relationships with property managers, presenting Mailbox Project as a trusted partner. • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly, ensuring no potential opportunities are missed. Customer Service • Act as the first point of contact for apartment complexes, addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing solutions. • Demonstrate empathy and understanding while managing customer interactions, ensuring a positive experience. • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team member or department when necessary. CRM Management • Use Pipedrive CRM to manage customer information, track interactions, and update the status of leads and contacts. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer calls, emails, and sales activities in the CRM system. • Generate reports and insights from CRM data to assist the Sales Manager in evaluating sales performance and trends. Email and Communication Management • Draft, send, and monitor email communication to potential and existing clients. • Respond to inquiries received via email or other communication channels promptly and professionally. • Use templates where appropriate but personalize communication to address specific client needs. Collaboration and Process Improvement • Work closely with the Sales Manager to refine outreach strategies and improve the overall sales and service process. • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights from client interactions to enhance service delivery. • Share feedback on recurring challenges or frequently asked questions to improve internal processes and customer satisfaction. Requirements • Experience: • * Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably with prior experience in outbound calling or sales outreach. • Familiarity with sales processes and CRM platforms, particularly Pipedrive or similar tools. • Technical Proficiency: • * Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.). • Comfortable navigating and updating CRM software. • Ability to use communication tools like Slack for team collaboration. • Communication Skills: • * Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English. • Articulate, with the ability to build rapport over phone calls and craft effective email messages. • Active listening skills to understand client needs and concerns effectively. • Organizational Skills: • * Strong attention to detail in managing client data and tracking communication. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple client interactions simultaneously. • Sales Mindset: • * Comfortable initiating conversations with potential clients and addressing objections. • Goal-oriented, with a focus on achieving measurable sales and service outcomes. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience in working with property management companies or in industries related to logistics or package management. • Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques such as consultative selling or solution-based approaches.
