Position Overview: Title: Field Sales & Education Executive Location(s): Open to • Chicago • Dallas • DMV-Area (WDC, Maryland, Virginia) • Los Angeles • Miami Type: Remote, 1-2 days/month in-office (willingness to travel 80%) Key Responsibilities: Sales • Drive sales to meet or exceed the total sales plan for the assigned territory by executing effective in-store and virtual sales strategies. • Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, utilizing reporting tools to adjust strategies for optimal results. • Identify and act on opportunities to improve sales performance, working closely with store teams to enhance sell-through. • Collaborate with store leadership teams to communicate sales goals, status updates, and ensure all initiatives are executed effectively. • Manage territory budgets (T&E, freelance, event expenses) and ensure spending aligns with company goals. Education • Initiate in-store trainings to educate store staff on the Le Monde Gourmand brand, product knowledge, demonstration, and selling techniques, utilizing education briefs and directives provided by the Sr. Manager of Field Sales. • Conduct in-store and virtual trainings in line with retailer expectations (Ulta & Nordstrom) to ensure a consistent brand message across all touchpoints. • Demonstrate products on clients and staff, following brand protocols, and customizing approaches based on individual learning styles and audience perspectives. • Act as a brand ambassador by sharing product insights and engaging in continuous education to stay informed about new launches and core product lines. • Manage personal inventory of gratis, GWPs, samples, and event collateral, ensuring appropriate stock levels and distribution. Events • Plan and execute events to achieve sales goals in collaboration with retailer teams, aligning both company and retailer initiatives. • Track event performance, report outcomes, and apply learnings for future success. • Maintain a cohesive monthly schedule that focuses on top-volume doors, aligned with territory needs and sales targets. Relationships • Build and maintain strategic relationships with store management, beauty advisors, department managers, and brand partners to drive collaboration and sales. • Develop partnerships with Ulta, Nordstrom, and other retailer stakeholders, ensuring continuous communication and support. • Act as a point of contact for store teams, providing timely updates on sales performance, new launches, and promotional strategies. Inventory & Merchandising • Collaborate with store merchandising teams to maintain healthy stock levels, ensure on-shelf availability, and implement visual merchandising updates according to planograms. • Ensure Le Monde Gourmand’s presence in-store meets brand standards, reporting any concerns or opportunities to the Sr. Manager Field Sales. Freelance Management • Recruit, train, and manage a freelance team within the assigned territory, ensuring they represent the brand with excellence during events and regular store visits. • Manage freelance budget in partnership with the Sr. Manager of Field Sales, ensuring optimal deployment and coverage. • Travel to freelance markets to train, team-sell, and support event execution. Administrative • Compile comprehensive weekly recaps and insights, reporting to the Sr Manager Field Sales • Lead weekly calls with freelancers to align on objectives and provide support, while participating in broader leadership meetings and discussions. • Submit monthly expense reports, adhering to company guidelines on T&E budgets. Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of beauty retail experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. • Beauty savvy, able to embody the brand while adhering to retailer dress code policies. • Strong ability to work independently, with an entrepreneurial and resilient mindset. • Collaborative, inclusive leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), with comfort in working with sales reporting tools. • Experience managing people, including freelance teams. • Strong business acumen, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to drive sales performance. Requirement(s): • Schedule: Based on needs of the business. Tuesday - Saturday in-store, occasional Sundays required. 1-2 office days per month. • Ability to travel overnight, with flexibility based on business needs. • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day) and lift heavy boxes. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for territory travel. • Experience with Ulta is required; existing relationships are a plus. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing environments.
