What You’ll Do As a Senior Bookkeeper at RHN CPA, you’ll play a key role in helping clients succeed by managing their day-to-day accounting needs with precision. Your responsibilities will include: • Full-Cycle Accounting: Handle a variety of tasks such as Payroll preparation, T4s, T5s, bank and credit card reconciliations, WorkSafe BC remittances, GST/HST remittances, PST remittances, and WEB Record of Employment forms. • Client Training & Support: Provide in-person or remote training to clients on how to effectively use their accounting software, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed. • Tax Preparation Support: Prepare information for personal income tax returns, helping clients navigate their tax filings. • Professional Development & Leadership: Engage in RHN’s leadership philosophy, contributing to a culture of continuous learning through workshops and team collaboration. • Mentorship: Guiding and supporting junior staff in their professional development. What You Bring to the Role • Experience: You bring at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, with public practice experience being a strong asset. • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Sage50 (SageCloud), Adagio, Xero, CaseWare, AccountEdge, and Microsoft Suite. • Paperless & Cloud Computing: Comfortable working in a paperless environment and utilizing cloud computing for efficient and streamlined work processes. • Payroll & Reporting Expertise: You have experience with payroll and government reporting. • Excellent Communication: Strong written and spoken English skills, with a focus on providing exceptional client service and clear communication.
