eCommerce Specialist
We're on the lookout for a geek-at-heart problem-solver with an interest in ecommerce and internet technologies.
We don't mind if you are a secret Jedi master, have a pet hamster, have your own bike or car or not, still live with your parents or have your own luxury penthouse. We do however expect you to present and conduct yourself in a professionally acceptable way, especially when dealing with clients.
This is an office-based full-time role in Escario, Cebu City, Philippines. If you are not living in Cebu, please do not apply (we don't mean to be rude, but we will ignore your application).
First, a little about us:
ZELLIS is a leading ecommerce ecosystem advisory and solution provider based in Australia (bold statement yes, but we have the history and credentials to say it).
· We design, build and launch high-converting ecommerce websites on Australia's only all-in-one award winning multichannel platform Neto as a Maropost Platinum Partner (the only one in the world), and also as a Neto Authorised Reseller through our own ZELLIS Connectplatform.
· We deploy integrated multi-website and multi-marketplace technology solutions.
· We have a brilliant team of ecommerce specialists who work directly with our clients to create, curate, restructure, categorise and optimise product data and images for use on webstores and marketplaces.
· We deliver high-impact vehicle and motorcycle fitment solutions to automotive dealerships and retailers via our own real-time API powered fitment platform for website part finders, virtual garages, compatibility lists, and fitment for eBay.
Who we work with:
· We work mostly with online and multichannel retailers, automotive dealerships, marketplace sellers and wholesalers in English speaking countries.
· Around 70% of our clients sell automotive parts & accessories online and have specific data needs and challenges that we provide compelling solutions for.
· Some of our clients have physical shops and outlets.
· All of our clients are determined to succeed and grow. They're zealous which is why they work with us (because we're ZELLIS, get it? Yes you will need to have a sense of humour, or at least laugh politely. Puns are always welcome.)
Why we need you:
Our client base is growing thanks to the continuing rise of ecommerce over the past few years, and we need somebody who:
· Has strong English comprehension and written/verbal communication
· Has at least 6 months of customer service experience
· Is competent using a spreadsheet to organise product data
· Pays attention to detail
· Has a problem-solving mindset
· Is punctual and responsible
· Can communicate with clients and co-workers in a way they'll understand
· Has patience to repeat things to clients who might not understand it first time round
· Has self-initiative and motivation to undertake tasks without constant supervision
· Takes full ownership of tasks you're required to do
· Seeks to collaborate and support your co-workers
· Is willing to share both good and bad results so we can all improve together
· Isn’t afraid to ask questions to expand your understanding and knowledge
· Has integrity to always seek the best outcomes for clients and colleagues
If you have some experience with ecommerce and/orthe automotive industry, this will give you a MASSIVE advantage over other applicants.
What we need you to do:
This is a full-time role for a guaranteed minimum of 12 months (subject to you being able to do what you say you can, and what we need you to) with the option of remaining a permanent member of team ZELLIS.
The client you’ll be working with initially is a large Australian car dealership group based in Sydney who sells car parts, accessories and merchandise online. They’ve been very successful so far and are now embarking on a big expansion strategy to add thousands more products to their webstore and eBay store. Their sales are expected to increase substantially over the coming year and beyond, and your role will be instrumental in helping them achieve this.
Your role will include:
· Communicating regularly with your client to understand their requirements
· Creating and optimising product information, titles, attributes and categorisation in line with ecommerce best practices (we’ll tell you what they are)
· Sourcing and editing product images so they’re suitable for ecommerce (or working with somebody else in our team to edit those images)
· Uploading completed and approved product data to the client’s ecommerce system (we’ll show you how)
· Tagging fitment on each product to the specific vehicle models they are compatible with (we’ll show you how)
· Spotting errors and implementing improvements as best you can
· Checking inbound customer emails, chat enquiries and eBay messages, replying promptly and professionally, or escalating to the relevant person in the client’s business where appropriate
· Seeking the most time-efficient ways to do tasks the client requests
· Helping to troubleshoot issues raised by your client, and working with our triage specialist to quickly find solutions
· Providing regular reports on progress, problems and plans (PPP’s)
The global ecommerce sector is rapidly evolving and expanding, so we are looking for you to be alert, receptive and collaborative as the rest of our team already is.
What we'll do for you:
· Keep you challenged (and occasionally entertained, don't say we didn't warn you!)
· Your work output will be supervised by the client you work with and they will deliver most of your training, but we will provide you with additional training, guidance and resources to expand your expertise in the ecommerce space
· Make sure you have the technology and tools you need to do your job (including a computer, essential software, internet connection, comfortable and safe working space and furniture)
· Flexible working policy so you can work from home sometimes too
· Regular communication to ensure you know you're part of something impactful, and valued for your contribution
· A pay rate reflective of your existing capabilities and experience, and a commitment to increase your pay by a guaranteed 5% each year as you make a measurable impact on the success of our clients and the broader ZELLIS team around the world
· Statutory employment contributions and leave entitlements
· Additional performance bonuses and incentives to recognise excellence and impact
· Referral bonuses for bringing in additional clients and projects
· Personal health insurance
· Provide pathways to leadership responsibilities over time
· Give you plenty of reasons to never want to leave
If you made it this far, you might just have what it takes to succeed in this role. So give us your best pitch. Tell us what you can do for ZELLIS and our clients, and why you will do it better than everybody else.
How to apply:
Please send your resume to hrcebu@zellis.com.au with a covering letter or email explaining why you believe you’re the ideal person for this role.
If you have what we're looking for, we look forward to meeting you soon.
PLEASE NOTE: Only applicants who can demonstrate they can meet the above criteria will be responded to. Merely wanting a job doesn't mean it's the right role for you. We are a specialised company and need somebody who can compliment what we already do, and help to drive it further.
