Quality Assurance/Data Specialist

The QA/Data Specialist will support the Product and Data teams in ensuring the quality and reliability of Zoomph’s platform, particularly in data-heavy components. This role will focus on designing and executing test plans, analyzing data integrity, and improving product quality through rigorous testing processes. The specialist will work to validate complex use cases involving social data, ensuring functionality and data accuracy.
Major Responsibilities:
• Design and execute QA test plans for data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics features.
• Lead communications with other departments for testing and solving problems
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of platform features to identify issues.
• Provide insights and feedback for improving data handling and system performance.
• Work closely with the Product and Social teams to validate complex social media-related use cases.
• Document QA findings and assist in refining testing protocols.
• Report quality levels, defects and other issues to relevant departments
• Train other team members on quality assurance inspection processes and policies
• Document and maintain records of operations
• Create reports using data mining techniques to extract and analyze information from data sets and visualizations to communicate data findings
• Ensure data is accurate and free of errors
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and data analyst account management, customer success, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Experience supporting and delivering QA solutions to a software developing firm.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
