We work exclusively with small, independent sustainable designers from emerging market and also from underestimated backgrounds.

Presently looking for a results driven lead software engineer/full stack developer to take ownership and develop our products. We need someone extremely good at product design and product architecture
with experience in E-commerce/Marketplace to swift operations of our Digital Marketplace for African and Black-owned brands, designers and markers.
The role is flexible and remote as most of the current 3 team members are based across different geographic locations works closely with the founder.
You will join as part of the core team with the view of working on sweat equity for future reward.
Job Requirements overview:

- Solid understanding of E-commerce and marketplaces
- Knowledge of Shopify and marketing tools

- Deep knowledge of KPIs and OKRs as they apply to online marketplaces/e-comm business
- Remote with opportunity for future hybrid
Sweat equity arrangement:
You'll be titled as an employee share option holder with an equity range between 1% - 2% with 1 cliff and 5Y vesting consistent with industry level for mid-level to experienced employees. This will be explored and details finalised with you. Additionally, you will also receive financial compensation when the company raises its pre-seed funding.
