Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling, polishing, and preventative treatments. • Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health through tailored advice and resources. • Conduct oral health assessments and collaborate with dentists to develop care plans. • Use advanced diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, and digital scanners. • Maintain accurate and detailed records using electronic medical record systems. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • Current dental hygiene license in Indiana. • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. • CPR Certification. • Strong understanding of dental procedures, patient care, and hygiene practices. Preferred Experience: • Open to new graduates; no prior experience required. • Familiarity with digital X-rays, scanners, and electronic health systems. • Desire to continually grow and enhance clinical skills. Physical Requirements • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. • Capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed. • Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions. • Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test as part of pre-employment requirements (not applicable in FL or TN).
