We're passionate about helping our clients grow and thrive in the digital landscape, and we're now looking for an experienced E-Commerce Account Manager to lead our client projects. Job Summary Upbeat is seeking a seasoned E-Commerce Account Manager to act as the cornerstone of our client relationships and strategy execution. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for onboarding new clients seamlessly into our ecosystem, ensuring a swift transition and setting the tone for a successful partnership. Your primary focus will be to manage and nurture these relationships, serving as the main point of contact for clients both online and in-person. You will dive deep into understanding their business goals, organisational structure, and needs to guarantee client satisfaction and secure their long-term success. Your strategic acumen will be put to use as you develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategies, inclusive of paid social, search, email marketing, content creation, and creative production. A hands-on approach to strategy management will involve KPI reviews, timeline coordination, team accountability, and budget oversight to deliver consistent growth and performance. An intrinsic part of the role is account growth, where you'll be expected to maintain and expand client revenue through proactive planning, strategic forecasting, and identifying new opportunities to add value. Your expertise in performance marketing and media buying will drive the commercial success of campaigns, and your creativity will fuel the ideation and production of compelling advert creatives. With your finger on the pulse of each project, you will manage multiple projects efficiently, coordinate with outsourced teams, and ensure timely, high-quality completion. Additionally, you'll craft engaging presentations and proposals, confidently pitch new ideas to clients, and identify upsell opportunities. The ideal candidate is one who thrives under pressure, possesses meticulous attention to detail, and upholds high work standards. You are an independent problem-solver, a decisive thinker, and self-motivated, with the critical thinking skills to match. Responsibilities Onboarding • Integrate new clients into the agency. • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations. • Ensure a quick onboarding time. • Discovery questions > onboarding questions. • Communication channels setup. • Full understanding of project requirements and key metrics. Client Relationship Management • Managing client relationships and serving as the main point of contact for clients. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients – online / in-person. • Understanding their business goals and objectives • Ensuring client satisfaction. • A deep understanding of their organisation – their role, responsibilities, management, opportunities in other departments, LinkedIn connections, understand their needs, wants and desires, both individual and organisational. • Client communication • Acquire referrals from clients. • Acquire testimonials and case studies from clients. Marketing Strategy Development and Execution • Developing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels - Paid social / Paid search / Email marketing / Organic content creation / Creative production • This involves having a detailed understanding of - Campaign objectives / Targeting strategies / Campaign messaging / Creative strategies. • Execute and manage the strategy - KPI reviews / Timelines / Accountabilities to various teams / Regular communication – team and client / Deliver consistent growth. Budget management • Managing budgets and ensuring campaigns and projects are on track to meet performance goals. • Monitoring spending • Forecasting future expenses • Communicating budget updates to team and clients. Account Growth • Maintain and grow client income over time. • Ensure a high-quality of service. • Account proactivity • Proactive long-term planning • Opportunity seeking - proactivity thinking about how to grow the client with the agency. • Conducting regular performance reviews with clients • Identifying areas for improvement Performance Marketing and Media Buying • A detailed understanding of performance marketing. • A detailed understanding of media buying • Commercially minded • Ability to articulate and explain technical techniques. • Ability to review ad account performance at a top level. You are not expected to do any media buying, just understand it enough to communicate it proficiently to the client. Creatives • The ability to be creative and brainstorm new ideas for advert creatives. • Have a detailed understanding of the creative production process. • Writing clear creative briefs for the creative production team. • UGC - Creative ideas / Sourcing / Helping to script / Managing creators / Getting creatives produced Project Management • Work with the team to coordinate plans and workload. • Develop solutions to issues by engaging wider team around key challenges. • Experience with project management tools, social media platforms, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools. • The ability to handle multiple projects/ • Manage outsourced teams. • Push projects forward and ensure completion to a high standard. Presentations and Proposals • Creating presentations and proposals • Confident in presenting presentations to clients • Assisting with client proposals for new prospective clients • Create ideas for upsells.
