The Director of Career Growth and Mobility will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that support employee career growth, internal mobility, and talent management within the organization. This role demands a forward-thinking leader who can drive initiatives that align with our business goals and foster an environment where employees can thrive and grow. This role will partner with business leaders, HR business partners, Total Rewards and the broader People & Culture team to develop an enterprise-wide career architecture, write career success profiles, create pathways for employee across different roles and functions, enable competency mapping, and integrate talent mobility initiatives into overall organizational goals. The role is critical to ensuring the company has the right talent in the right positions to meet future business needs.
Key Responsibilities: Career Architecture Design & Implementation
• Develop an enterprise-wide career architecture that supports Veeam's growth strategy through skills growth, mobility and talent maturity plans.
• Lead project teams of HR business partners and subject matter experts in the creation of career success profiles that clarify expectations of each role and enable mapping of competencies across Functions and roles.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners and industry experts to enhance career architecture initiatives.
• Drive enterprise wide change management plans and inspirational employee communications to ensure the successful implementation of the career architecture.
Career Growth & Mobility:
• Partner with business leaders and People & Culture to design and launch a company-wide career growth and mobility strategy that aligns with Veeam's mission and priorities.
• Design and implement clear, actionable career pathways for employees at all levels of the organization, using competency mapping and skills growth assessments
• Design and implement a career hub that tracks employee career aspirations, growth progress, and internal movement opportunities.
• Expand mentorship and coaching programs to support career progression and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure career pathways are inclusive, equitable, and supportive of diverse talents and skills.
• Regularly review and update career pathways to reflect evolving business needs and employee aspirations.
• Promote success stories of internal career moves to inspire others.
Employee Development
• Partner with learning experts to co-create programs that support employee career development, including mentoring, coaching, and training initiatives.
• Co-facilitate career pathing and succession planning to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.
• Implement tools and resources that help employees identify and pursue career opportunities within the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in HR, talent management, or a related field, with a focus on career development and internal mobility.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful career growth and mobility programs.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in HR software and tools, including Workday.
• Korn Ferry Leadership Architect Certification or familiarity with Korn Ferry Leadership Success Profiles is preferred

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate's expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
United States of America Pay Range
$181,000—$258,600 USD
