About You:
You are a meticulous quality assurance specialist who takes pride in catching the smallest errors before they go live. With a strong editorial background, you thrive on ensuring that every marketing asset meets brand-specific guidelines, contains flawless content, and functions perfectly across platforms and devices. You’re not only detail-oriented but also collaborative, eager to help design QA processes that improve team workflows and content approval times. About the Role:
This role offers you a unique opportunity to gain deep exposure to growth marketing strategies at a fast-growing startup. Key Responsibilities:
• Cross-Brand Nuance Verification: Ensure all digital marketing materials (emails, web pages, social media posts) adhere to subtle brand distinctions between university partners, such as variations in course naming conventions and credential terminology.
• Asset Testing & Content Validation: Conduct thorough testing of marketing assets to ensure functionality, design accuracy, and performance across platforms. Check for content consistency (grammar, spelling, punctuation) and ensure message accuracy, alignment with brand guidelines, and compliance.
• User Experience (UX) Validation: Review marketing materials from a user’s perspective, confirming that all elements—copy, images, and calls to action—are clear, error-free, and meet user expectations across different devices and browsers.
• Compliance & Legal Verification: Ensure that all content complies with privacy policies, copyright laws, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM), as well as ensuring proper use of third-party content.
• QA Process Development: Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to design and improve QA processes, creating checklists, protocols, and workflows to streamline the quality assurance process.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the company (design, copywriting, development) to report errors, provide feedback, and ensure that marketing assets are error-free before launch.
Qualifications & Skills:
• 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or editorial roles focused on digital marketing assets.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with regard to subtle brand differences and consistency
• Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Familiarity with QA tools (e.g., Litmus, BrowserStack) for cross-browser/device testing.
• The ability to manage and organize multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred but not required: Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS for spotting minor formatting issues.
Preferred Skills:
• Understanding of basic HTML, CSS, and web development principles.
• Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) for performance tracking.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
• Knowledge of SEO and UX/UI best practices.

Salary range for this role: $55,000 - $65,000 annually for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area (this is considered the Ziplines Education virtual home base). Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
