E-Commerce Fulfillment Center / Warehouse Manager

Motion RC is a Veteran owned, global e-commerce company that sells toy and hobby model products including radio-controlled (RC) airplanes, helicopters, boats, cars, tanks, trucks, and thousands of related accessories. We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse staff and day to day operations at our new e-commerce order fulfillment center located in Gurnee, Illinois. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual to leverage and enhance their experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Team Leadership, and Communications. Operating Hours • Monday to Friday • 7:30am to 4:00pm • 40 Hours per Week Primary Responsibilities • Oversee all functions/departments within the warehouse including Receiving, Inventory Management, Order Pick, Pack & Ship, and Customer Returns • Train, mentor, and lead a team of Warehouse Associates including cross-training and periodic review process • Measure team productivity and quality levels for all standard warehouse processes • Oversee the receipt and unloading of products and product check-in • Ensure optimal storage of products within the warehouse • Monitor inventories of consumables and coordinate re-ordering • Assure that correct Pick, Pack & Ship processes are followed • Review and report on customer returns, shipping errors, and shipping damages • Collaborate with other department leads including Customer Service and Product Specialists • Optimize warehouse operations via continuous improvement and implement cost saving measures • Safeguard team, product inventory and equipment with established safety, cleanliness, and security protocols Requirements • Associate's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Systems, Logistics, or similar disciplines is preferred • Previous experience managing a team of at least five employees • Minimum three years of warehouse experience • Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving processes, procedures, and best practices • Demonstrated computer proficiency including use of Microsoft Office 365 applications • Knowledge of fundamental business principles and financial processes • Knowledge of radio-controlled (RC) products is a plus • Willing to undergo a background check and education verification in accordance with local laws and regulations Benefits • Medical Insurance • 401K with company match • Paid holidays • Paid time-off (PTO) • Substantial product discounts • Competitive starting salary •
