Position Summary Grow the MENA Samsung business by managing the channel and retail strategy execution and building capability across MENA into a key competitive advantage for Samsung. Role and Responsibilities Drive the right in-store portfolio management, key account management; criteria based incentive schemes across channels Conduct category management analytics & recommendations for top chains & stores Develop up-to-date product engagement solutions, strategies of growing traffic, engagement and conversion Create shopper analytics platforms (surveys) and dig shopper behavior insights Create shopper behavior based recommendations making commercial sense Leading Shopper Engagement projects with the Markets in charge, with agencies delivering the experience Create actionable in-store engagement targets and KPIs, adopt the strategy by market and utilize engagement results to assess commercial sense of innovations Engage with the regional Samsung teams and distributors to build the... distributor and channel infra/organization capability Supervising Retail Performance KPIs on regional level, provide by market recommendations, regional insights & recommendations Partners’ guidance, capability build-up and strategy alignment Responsible for Tracking the Retail execution across MENA markets, but translating the strategy into execution KPIs and setting scorecard with market targets Engagement with the other Retail Marketing parts for Brand Store staff capability improvement Setup and keep updating quarterly plans for Channel marketing activities with team / business partners and follow-up execution (retail shop management) Indirectly supervise, lead and support field marketing teams in MENA markets Make periodic market surveys to get feedback from dealers and end-users and propose ideas accordingly to enhance continuously the channel management and operations Ensure best in industry shop display through the collaboration and communication between retail staff, merchandisers, third party agencies and distributors Analyze retail data, develop insights and report to management with actionable recommendations Implement, check and maintain Samsung retail guideline standards Actively monitor & report retail market intelligence and make recommendations to management Liaise with suppliers for new store display implementation Support production and implementation of all non-retail public & trade marketing events such as road shows, dealer launches, product launches etc. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing or similar Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations/retail marketing/ retail analysis Fluent in English, Arabic would be an advantage Product experience specialist Strong level of data management: Excel, Power BI and other platforms, ideally to have practice in creating dashboards Team-player with strong engagement skills Business experience in the MENA markets Multi-tasking skills essential to cope during busy and stressful periods.
