GENERAL SUMMARY The Solution Architect drives the evolution of the Marketing Technology & Services portfolio and will be responsible for full oversight and transformation of Marketing at Campbell’s into a modernized standard in line with Campbell’s digital transformation roadmap. In this role you will direct and support marketing and consumer experience solutions to ensure these solutions are delivered with reliability and resiliency as intuitively to the customer as possible. You will design, architect and deliver new features and upgrades, maintain and monitor to ensure quality, administration and support in partnership with capability leads, vendors and marketing team members. A successful Solution Architect should be able to build an overarching solution and integration ecosystem across on-prem, cloud and SaaS platforms servicing marketing technology needs. The Solution Architect is expected to formulate a solution consisting of hardware, software, licensing, integrations and operations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a proven collaborator, passionate about organizing people and teams. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Development and evolution of Marketing Technology architecture and strategy, both as it relates to the company's enterprise needs and to products and services of technology partners and service providers. • Lead technology requirements, architectural infrastructure and blueprint delivery on emerging and proposed technologies across the enterprise. • Adopt industry best practices and technologies to architect solutions that introduce business value driven technology solutions into the Campbell’s IT service portfolio. • Provide technical support across the MarTech stack and supporting technology teams across both legacy and modern technologies, across all types of infrastructure, platforms, and software. Identify and propose architecture considerations and recommend changes or enhancements across the service offering. • Monitor current and emerging marketing technology trends that will positively affect organizational projects; applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing architecture. • Partner with internal teams including Security, Sales Technology and Infrastructure as well as third parties to identify architectural enhancements to existing solutions and ensure that future technologies will be effective given resource constraints, changes in business direction, changes to other systems in the environment. • Provide leadership and expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns and IT practices for large scale projects across the enterprise. • Lead and facilitate the evaluation and selection of technologies and product standards, and the design of standard configurations/implementation. • Responsible for the delivery and operational excellence of all platforms including modern, legacy and cloud platforms. • Create performance metrics and KPI’s to determine the effectiveness of architecture solutions. • Partner with vendors and third parties to identify architectural enhancements. • Ensure solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule. • Develop reference architectures for use throughout the company, technology partners and third-party service providers. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 5+ years of architecture and/or progressive developer responsibilities • Leader, fast learner, dynamic and motivated, not afraid to push boundaries and unwilling to accept the status-quo • Strategic thinker with solid analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated skills in preparing architecture artifacts • Strong experience with API design/development • Understanding of web development process and technologies, including SDLC/Waterfall and Agile methodologies with a focus on Kanban) • Understanding of JIRA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and aspects of development. • Understanding of the influence and interactions between business requirements, agency/client/third party dynamics and deliverables EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED None CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: None LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: None OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED: None % OF TRAVEL REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: 15% WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office and remote Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $115,400-$165,800 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
