Job Description Timmons Group is currently seeking a Substation Protection & Control Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Design Group located in our Charlotte, NC office. Remote acndidates will be considered. Responsibilities include preparation of P&C drawings, substation project design, studies, and technical documents in the support of the design of substation engineering projects throughout the country. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: • Participate in the detailed design of medium to high-voltage utility substations • Develop detailed design, including one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, conduit, and cable sizing/routing, and selection of substation P&C equipment • Translate written scope documents into comprehensive P&C substation design and drawing package using good engineering judgment and industry/client standards with minimal oversight • Analyze s ...
