Position Overview The Background Investigator is responsible for preparing and supporting investigation cases, retrieving and analyzing court records, social media and open-source intelligence (OSINT) research Statements taking, conducting Interviews. This role also includes performing Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and comprehensive background research to assist Surveillance, Research and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and other investigative teams. The investigator must maintain strict confidentiality, work with accuracy and precision, and ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
