The Senior Director, Coding & PMI (Performance Management and Innovation) provides overall direction and leadership, as well as monitors facility and market performance, ensures consistency in education programs, timely regulatory updates, proper documentation standards, and adherence to compliance initiatives. He/she ensures policy and practice standardization in all areas of Health Information Management across all facilities. The Senior Director also has responsibility for planning, organizing and directing all functions within the Medical Records, Transcription, Clinical Documentation Improvement Education and Coding operations.
