Freelance Consultant Needed for Import/Export Certifications and Operations in the UAE

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced freelance consultant, based in the UAE, to assist our free zone company in Sharjah with obtaining all necessary certifications and authorizations to legally and efficiently import and export products in the UAE. This role includes both strategic guidance and operational support to ensure full compliance with UAE regulations. Scope of Work: Certifications and Compliance: - Assist in obtaining required import/export certifications for various products, including Steel products, Skincare creams, Dietary supplements, adhesive, etc. - Ensure compliance with UAE regulations for product categories, including any additional certifications for restricted or regulated items. Support with Import/Export Operations: - Provide guidance on the end-to-end import/export process. - Assist with product registration in the UAE, ensuring all products meet local standards and regulatory requirements. - Support with obtaining certificates of origin and quality certifications when required. Operational Management: - Help streamline import/export operations via the Dubai Trade platform and other relevant systems. - Advise on logistics and customs procedures to ensure seamless trade operations. Strategic Consulting: - Provide expert advice on navigating free zone regulations in Sharjah and other UAE zones. - Recommend best practices for managing import/export activities in a trading company. Requirements: - Proven experience in UAE import/export processes, especially in free zones (preferably in Sharjah). - Familiarity with Dubai Trade and UAE customs regulations. - Strong understanding of compliance and certification requirements for diverse product categories. - Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus). - Based in the UAE with a deep knowledge of local trade practices and regulatory bodies. Deliverables: - Assistance with obtaining necessary certifications and registrations for the company’s products. - Step-by-step guidance on the import/export process, including operational and strategic recommendations. - Regular updates and communication on progress and next steps.
