As the Manager, Field Sales for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, Canada; you will have primary responsibility for driving profitable sales growth in accounts within Canadian territories for the Field Sales team that meets or exceeds sales goals. You will incorporate strategic planning in order to optimize revenue generation of sales efforts of the field sales team. Additional activities include: driving the sale process; understanding and communicating customer needs to inform product improvements and product extensions; ensuring execution of marketing activities; overseeing the use of sales metrics and managing sales territories and performance/operations. You will report to the Director, Field Sales – Tax & Accounting North America. You Will: Manage a team of Field Sales Executives Drive performance and results of the Canadian region Provide direction based on general policies and management guidance and recommend modifications to operating policies where appropriate Play a lead role in driving a cross-regional sales team and internal employees to penetrate key accounts expand relationships Adapt functional/departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges and objectives Ensure professional sales coordination and account planning to resolve possible account ownership issues Attract, retain, and develop talent to ensure that the team consistently meets key performance indicators Travel to company meetings, conferences, events and client sites as needed You Have: Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience; MBA preferred Minimum Experience: 7+ years working in a B2B Field Sales or Account Management role 3+ years sales leadership or supervisory experience developing and managing field sales representatives Prior sales of software/SaaS or other relevant subscription-based product solutions Proven track record of achieving/exceeding individual and team-based sales quotas and targets Experience adapting functional/departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges and objectives Demonstratable history of influencing a team and delivering on outcomes TRAVEL Up to 50% within territory The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
