Purpose of Role
The Fraud Analyst plays a critical role in monitoring and analyzing data to identify and prevent potential fraudulent activities within the company. By proactively detecting and mitigating fraud, this role helps build and maintain trust among vendors and affiliates.
The Fraud Analyst serves the entire organization by safeguarding its financial interests and reputation. By preventing fraudulent activities, this role ensures that vendors and affiliates can confidently engage with the company, leading to their satisfaction and trust.

1. Analyze Declines and Chargebacks from Affiliates: Review and analyze data related to affiliates with declined transactions and chargebacks from the previous day. Identify patterns and potential fraud indicators.
2. Examine Kount and Stripe Suspect Transactions: Scrutinize transactions flagged as suspect by Kount and Stripe systems. Investigate these transactions to determine their legitimacy and take appropriate actions.
3. Assess Affiliates for Different Vendors (Whitelists): Analyze affiliates who have signed up for different vendors or whitelists. Ensure compliance with company policies and identify any irregularities.
4. Monitor Promocliks Using Elastic: Continuously monitor and review promocliks utilizing Elastic. Detect and respond to any unusual activity or anomalies promptly.
5. Monitor and Review Kount Rules: Regularly review and update Kount rules to enhance fraud detection capabilities. Ensure that the system is optimized for identifying potential fraud.
