Job Description Job Title: Instructional Designer Position Type: Contract/Full Time Job Overview: As Lead ID, you are responsible for managing assigned projects and teams, quality and productivity at a project level, and contributing to presales endeavors. KEY EXPECTATIONS Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience working on core digital learning/e-learning projects Knowledge of digital learning development principles and practices Well-versed in the use of Gen AI tools for creating content Practice in developing and following process-based guidelines in executing projects Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite Strong time management skills and organizational skills Independent, proactive, and self-motivated CORE TASKS Project Execution (80%) o Lead the project level independently or with a team (the entire course, or part of a course) o Setting up projects from an instructional design perspective (including creation of guidelines and specifications documents) o Creating instructional plans/storyboard framework o Onboarding and Eliciting information from SMEs o Storyboarding as well as reviewing storyboards o Reviewing the quality of project deliverables o Analyzing customer feedback o Participating in scheduling discussions o Proposing new processes, if required, at a project level o Tracking the Instructional Design productivity and defects o Onboarding, training, and managing vendor ID teams o Use Gen AI tools: Leverage Generative AI tools to drive content creation, guiding the team in drafting content, generating media, and developing interactive elements Oversee and ensure the quality of AI-generated content produced by the instructional design team Establish and implement best practices for using Generative AI tools, while mentoring team members on effective usage Evaluate and recommend new Generative AI tools to improve content creation efficiency and enhance project workflows · Presales (5%) o Creating storyboards for protos and pilots Stakeholder and Team Management (15%) Coordinating with the customer and various internal project stakeholders Owning the scope of the project and managing customer communication accordingly Flagging project and function risks to the project manager and suggesting mitigation strategies Training the project team on the project tasks Providing feedback on team performance to project manager and functional heads..
