As a key member of our Labor & Employment Practice Group, you will work closely with three distinguished partners and one associate attorney, providing critical support on a wide range of immigration matters. What You’ll Do:
• Non-Immigrant Visa Processing: Manage the full life cycle of non-immigrant visa applications, including H-1B, B-1, L-1, F-1, E-2, O-2, P-1, R-1, and TN visas, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
• Permanent Residency Cases: Provide expert assistance on labor certifications, immigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status, and consular processing, ensuring successful outcomes for both employment-based and family-based immigration matters.
• Investor and Employment-Based Residency: Facilitate the attainment of permanent residency through investment and employment-based applications, offering meticulous service to our prestigious clients.
• Litigation & Court Documentation: Prepare and file key legal documents for state and federal courts, including bankruptcy and arbitration cases. This includes motions, subpoenas, summonses, proofs of claim, and notices.
• Electronic Filing & E-Recording: Handle e-filing through the Florida e-filing portal, all Florida District and bankruptcy courts, and Simplifile e-recording, ensuring that all submissions meet rigorous court standards.
• Trial & Deposition Support: Collaborate with attorneys on trial and deposition preparation, managing subpoenas, summarizing financial and medical records, and organizing essential documentation.
• Research & Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth research and due diligence using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other advanced legal tools to support case development and strategy.
• Document Management: Oversee the preparation and management of discovery pleadings, including responses to interrogatories and requests for production and admissions.
• Client & Vendor Communication: Act as a key liaison, coordinating communication with clients, courts, vendors, and other legal professionals to ensure all needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Special Projects: Tackle a variety of high-level projects for attorneys, demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
