About the role:
We, at Turing, are looking for experienced web developers who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, publishing, and maintaining web pages and websites, including layout to functionality, according to stakeholder specifications and organizational standards. Job responsibilities
- Participate in building and maintaining different types of web pages, websites, and online portals
- Implement best practices for development infrastructure, including version control and testing
- Assist in completing projects within production SLAs and in accordance with client requirements and company standards
- Make sure to deliver the highest quality software solutions promptly
- Identify new opportunities and development practices and share feedback with the team to improve the infrastructure
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years experience in web development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Effective working experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
- Proficiency in SDLC methodology and project methodologies and tools
- Competent with bug and feature tracking systems, including Jira, New Relic, etc., and Git-based source control
- Solid knowledge of web services integrations with REST and/or SOAP
- Demonstrable experience in integrating APIs, payment gateways, etc.
- Experience in managing complex, multiple, time-sensitive projects for informational websites
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
