Mobile Application Architect

We are seeking a Mobile Application Architect to lead the architectural design and development of mobile applications. This role focuses on front-end mobile architecture, ensuring optimal design patterns, frameworks, and strategies to provide robust, high-performance mobile experiences. With expertise in mobile-first design, the ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of session management, offline capabilities, authentication, data synchronization, and push vs. poll mechanisms, as well as a solid understanding of cloud principles, particularly AWS. Key Responsibilities: • Architect Mobile Front-End Solutions: Develop architectural designs and select frameworks to support scalable, maintainable mobile applications optimized for performance and user experience. • Design Patterns & Frameworks: Identify and implement best practices in mobile design patterns and frameworks to meet functional and non-functional requirements. • Offline Capabilities: Architect solutions to handle... offline data storage, synchronization, and seamless transition between offline and online states. • Session & Authentication Management: Ensure secure, efficient handling of user sessions and authentication/authorization across mobile platforms. • Data Synchronization: Implement strategies for data sync, balancing the use of push vs. poll to maintain real-time or near-real-time data integrity. • Cloud Awareness: Work closely with the backend and BA teams to ensure mobile architecture aligns with cloud-based backend services, primarily AWS, ensuring seamless integration and optimal resource usage. • Client Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand mobile-specific requirements and provide technical guidance on architectural decisions. • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs and share knowledge on mobile best practices. Requirements: Experience: • 5+ years of experience in mobile application architecture and development, with a strong focus on front-end solutions. • Proven expertise in designing mobile-first applications that support robust offline capabilities, data management, and secure user interactions. Certifications: • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Developer (preferred). • Relevant mobile-specific certifications are a plus. Technical Skills: • Expertise in mobile development frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native) and design patterns. • In-depth knowledge of session management, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and data synchronization for mobile applications. • Strong understanding of AWS or similar cloud platforms, particularly for integration with mobile front-end. • Familiarity with mobile development environments, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. Soft Skills: • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. • Ability to work independently and drive architectural decisions that align with business goals.
