Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium and Java for a part-time, remote contract role. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and execution of automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct regression testing to validate software functionality after updates.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Java.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
