We're seeking a seasoned Server and Cloud Infrastructure (Azure) SME to design and deliver Microsoft Azure deployments based on customer requirements and best practices! Your familiarity with the Microsoft technology stack and best practices including years of experience advising on, and successfully delivering cloud solutions, will ensure your success in this role. This role involves leading migration projects, ensuring seamless integration, and staying informed on technology trends within the Azure Cloud platform. A Day in the Life: • Implementing and supporting cloud technology solutions, specifically Azure deployments; IaaS • Taking a consulting approach, you will uncover and understand client requirements, both business and technical • Automating Azure tasks using PowerShell • Migrating workloads from Azure Tenant to Azure Tenant • Writing detailed documentation such as conceptual design, logical design, physical design, etc. What You Bring: • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft technology stack • Hands-on experience with VM migrations from on-premises to the cloud and tenant-to-tenant using Azure Migrate • Proficiency in Active Directory migrations and supporting Windows Server platforms and technologies (Windows Server 2016+, IIS, DNS) • Strong understanding and experience with Azure IaaS services, including VM administration, VM SKUs, and VNETs • Knowledge and experience with Azure Storage types What Makes You Extra Awesome: • Microsoft Azure certification(s) Why Work at Long View? • Great people and culture • Comprehensive benefits package from day one • Interesting work – Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologies • Flexible environment – A workplace that values the importance of flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness and wellness Want to learn more about our culture and life at Long View?
