Laravel Developer - Senior - Remote Full Time

We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Laravel Developer with strong Vue.js skills to join our team. This is a full-time remote position, where you’ll be collaborating with other developers, designers, and product managers to build innovative solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain complex Laravel applications with a focus on high performance and responsiveness. • Lead development projects, architecting solutions, and making key technical decisions to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Integrate frontend and backend, using Vue.js for rich, interactive user experiences and Laravel as the backend framework. • Collaborate closely with product teams to design and implement efficient, reliable, and scalable codebases. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, handling complex data relationships... and ensuring database integrity. • Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices. • Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed to improve performance, quality, and usability. • Mentor junior developers, helping them grow their skills and navigate challenges. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel, with a deep understanding of the framework and its ecosystem. • Proven experience with Vue.js, particularly for building complex user interfaces and managing state. • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and experience integrating third-party services. • Proficiency with MySQL or similar relational databases, with a strong understanding of database architecture. • Solid experience in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern JavaScript frameworks. • Familiarity with Git and version control practices in collaborative environments. • Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC principles, and best practices in software development. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating self-discipline and time management skills. • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas effectively. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD). • Familiarity with Docker or similar containerization tools. • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) and deployment processes. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
