Overview
This young and agile company who are building a large-scale digital asset back-office platform are currently looking to add to their expanding team by hiring a Product Designer who is focussed on technology-centric products, specifically centred around UX.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product/UX Designer to take that next step into a challenging position with a lot of responsibility and opportunity for growth.
The company are run by mature professionals who are experts in the industry - they can offer a level of flexibility and autonomy that larger organisations may not be able to. About the Company:
The company can be described as a young start-up, but not very early stage. They have already received Series-A funding, will be going for Series-B funding in 2025, and have been significantly backed by a range of investors. They have high single digit ARR growth and expect to continue to grow
Their product is very helpful for people in the digital asset space - helping them overcome one of the biggest hurdles by building the infrastructure to help institutional adoption.
With over 400 customers, they have an office in Central London, another office in Paris, and also now have a presence in New York.
Their Chief Product Officer is someone we have worked with at their last 3 companies – they have a track record of successfully growing companies’ product presence.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Technical Product Designer – UX Vacancy:
User Research and Analysis:
• Conduct user research to understand the needs, pain points, and behaviours of target users.
• Analyse user feedback and data to inform design decisions and improve the user experience.
UX/UI Design:
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for software products.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that align with brand and product vision.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
Product Development:
• Collaborate with the surrounding teams in Product and Development to engineer and iterate on product features.
• Involvement in agile development processes, such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Make sure that there is design consistency and coherence across all product touchpoints.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Communicate design concepts and progress to internal stakeholders, including executives and team members, as well as external ones, like customers and partners
• Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices within the organisation
Design Systems and Standards:
• Establish and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Develop design guidelines and standards to streamline the design process and promote efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance design practices.
• Collect and analyse user feedback to iterate on designs and improve the overall product experience.
• Continuously monitor product user data and analytics to ensure continuous improvement of the product experience.
Ideal Candidate Requirements for the Senior Technical Product Designer – UX Vacancy:
• Several years of experience in UX product design, particularly in FinTech or B2B SaaS.
• Background in a start-up environment is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience establishing design systems is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design concepts.
• Experience working in an agile development environment
