Online Math Tutors for American Pre-algebra and Algebra Level $40/hour LingoAce is an online learning platform providing engaging education for children aged 4-15, with a strong focus on math. After rapid growth, we now serve over ten thousand students worldwide. In 2022, we launched our Math Program, starting with elementary-level math and expanding to secondary-level courses like pre-algebra and algebra. About the Ace Math Honors program (American pre-algebra and algebra level): • Content: Teach courses based on American pre-algebra and algebra knowledge to secondary-level students, most of whom are based in the USA. • Class Schedule: Fixed-schedule classes with enrolled students, once a week, last 18 weeks for one semester starting on January 13th, 2025. • Curriculum: provided by LingoAce • Platform: LingoAce Online Classroom What You'll Do: • Teach engaging and interactive math courses focused on pre-algebra and algebra to secondary-level students. • Lead group classes (90 minutes) with 6-12 students per session, following the provided curriculum. • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth. • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed. • Collaborate with the LingoAce team to ensure class delivery meets educational standards and student needs. Application Process: • Fill in an Online Application Form: https://acemathhonors-americanprealgebraandalgebralevel.paperform.co/ • Pass Online Live Demo Stage (25 mins teaching) • Complete the Teacher Profile and Sign the Agreement Additional requirements for this role: Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related field • Experience teaching pre-algebra, or algebra at the middle school level Preferred Experience: • Strong content knowledge in mathematics • Previous experience teaching or tutoring students • Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred • A degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
